I want to experience everything I can; I want to listen to all kinds of music and read all kinds of books and feel all kinds of things because of them. I want to travel to new places and try new things; I want to feel all sorts of sensations and emotions. I am passionate about experimentation and exploration of all things I like to listen to: All sorts of music, I can't get enough, from indie rock to jazz to folk to old emo bangers, I love it all. I currently have about 104 different playlists I've made I like to watch: The colours of the sky changing at sunrise or sunset, the shifting hues and changing gradients, especially when you get some clouds dotted in there with a peachy candyfloss glow I like to smell: A crackling bonfire, chamomile tea on a crisp, chilled night, paired with deep conversations with friends, or a warm embrace I like to taste: The combination of salty and sweet, whether it's a sprinkle of salt on a chocolate chip cookie or the sweet salty taste of sweat skin as you kiss someone's body during a moment of passion I like to feel: Skin on skin, I'm all about connection and the electricity of touch and intimacy, there's nothing else quite like it favourite part of my body: My waist and my bum, I enjoy the shape of the curves I have, and who doesn't love to shake their hips to some good tunes! favourite part of someone else's body: Their arms, their collarbone or their smile, specifically the corners of the mouth Why i shot myself: Because I thoroughly enjoy the intersection of art and intimacy and the human form, I wanted to play around with some different shots and challenge myself to find ways of appreciating the form of my own body for a little bit of self-love and artistic expression. who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: Someone like Donald Trump - no one needs to see that who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: Jonti Shepard - they have a really cool photography style and I'd like to see the creative approach they would have Most outrageous thing I have done: Pack up all my belongings and travelled to Berlin no less than two weeks later on a bit of a whim, where I had the most incredible (and debaucherous) time, I experienced so much art and music and excitement of new people and new things Bands I like: I love all sorts of music, my favourite at the moment would have to be some shoegaze style music, anything with an undertone of 'yearning' - I currently love listening to the Cocteau Twins, Deftones and Alice Phoebe-Lou Books I like: I'm a big fan of dark academia style books, queer books, dark and twisted horror, or witty fantasy - my absolute favourite piece of literature has to be The Sandman graphic novels by Neil Gaiman, closely followed by Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl by Andrea Lawlor, and Good Omens (also Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett). I've also just finished The Secret History by Donna Tartt Films I like: My top three movies seem to sing quite well to the sort of person I am and the different facets of my personality - Scott Pilgrim vs The World (nerd), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (queer + sexcii), Frances Ha (a struggling artist, hopeless optimist, just trying to make it through their late 20's) |
