ARTISTS STATEMENT

I love being in the nude, and love the thrill I get when I do a nudie run through my house, flashing whichever housemates happen to be in the hallway. Sometimes I wanna be curious, silly, goofy, cheeky, playful but then on the other hand I want to channel my sensual, seductive and provocative side. I love dancing nude and feeling liberated and free. However, when it comes to being nude explicitly for a captured, still, paused moment, I have not yet experimented with this medium. I've never felt confident enough to capture my naked self but over the years I think I've learned to accept and celebrate my unique body. It was a fun project to shoot myself nude and to see other perceptions of myself. Taking part in this project has definitely accelerated my curiosity in the divine naked self. We are all nude, but not always willing to share it, but it's something we should embrace and open ourselves to as a way to appreciate our unique selves.
