ARTISTS STATEMENT
The opportunity to shoot myself was incredibly exciting for me as I consider myself an exhibitionist. However, the internet can be fairly puritanical when it comes to nudity. Tinder moments used to be my main outlet for naked and sexual expression. Although I was constantly reported and had my account deleted a number of times, which made me feel rather despondent that even on a fucking app people would want to silence my body. Since they got rid of moments I've been looking for another outlet for my exhibitionism, sex positivity and radical body acceptance. For me, these three things are integral to my being and happiness in what can be a very repressive and oppressive world. I feel so grateful for my body and my relationship with it and Ishotmyself has given me the opportunity to express and celebrate that.
